Just a brief note:
   An alternate site for the NYS Capital was the Van Deusen House in Hurly,
NY.
   The British had made the decision to burn Kingston and hopefully to quell
atlas part of the Rebellion.
    The "Founding Fathers" moved the site of government to this house due to
it's "Hidden Room" and distant location.
     So the Capital of NY has had more then one place of note.
