Dear Friends,

Does anyone know what kind of bathing & bathroom facilities would be
available in NY City tenement housing in 1892 - 1900?

Would there be outhouses? Would bathing be done in a tub erected in the
rental rooms, how would water be obtained and heated for bathing?

I would greatly appreciate any information on this. Mary L. Casey
