Historic Albany Foundation, a private, not-for-profit membership
organization working to promote the preservation and appreciation of the
built environment in and around the city of Albany, is seeking applicants
for the following positions:

Technical Services Director / Parts Warehouse Manager

The director of design and technical services is responsible for developing
and implementing innovative community revitalization projects and advocacy
projects involving saving endangered buildings. Provides design and
technical preservation services, both to the general public and to
individual clients with specialized needs. Other duties include monitoring
urban design issues and developing strategies for their resolution.

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Interior
Design or Environmental Design. An appropriate Master's Degree or 3 years
experience is also desired. This part time position is funded in part by a
grant from the New York State Council for the Arts, and offers salary plus
benefits.

Development Director

This individual would be responsible for conceptualizing, planning,
developing and implementing funding strategies to attract individual and
corporate donors. Specific duties would include, but not be limited to:
working with a committee to develop funding campaign strategy and rollout;
managing the implementation of the funding strategy; strategically placing
the Executive Director with potential donors.

Requirements: Excellent writing and communication skills; proven track
record of successful fundraising programs with individual and corporate
donors; computer and Internet skills, grant writing experience. This full
time position offers a salary commensurate with experience plus benefits.
