Try the 1829 Burr Atlas of New York State.

Subject: 19th century town maps

Can someone recommend a source (sources) for maps of new york state
showing counties and towns for the early nineteenth century.

Ideally, I would like to get maps that accord to the 1810 Fed census and
the 1821, 1825,
1835, 1845, and 1855 state censuses. (I am trying to track sheep and
cattle raising.)

I fear, however that such comprehensive maps do not exist. But I
would be happy to get maps that covered only
the eastern part of the state (that is, the Hudson-Mohawk corridor)

Thanks for any suggestions
