I have never heard of the Spiers 1660 map of New York, and would be very
interested in seeing a citiation for it.--I can't find a citation in the
Dictionary Catalog of the New York Public Library Map Division. However, you
can find a selection of seventeenth-century maps of New York on my Web site at
<http://www.sunysb.edu/libmap/ldintro.htm. Thre is also a very high resolution
image of the 1685 edition of the famous Visscher map of New Netherland at the
Library of Congress Geography and Map Division site
