Just a quick question.
I am new to the list and would like to know
if the German settlers in the Livingston Manor
area of Columbia County would have been more
likely than other New York State settlers to be Loyalists.

I suspect that my Burnett family were German Palatines
and, were perhaps, Loyalists during the revolution.

They lived in the area of Livingston Manor, about the time
of the revolution, and, most likely, going
back to the first Palatine settlements there, in the
East camp.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
