Subject: illustrations of NYC strikes

Can anyone give me the details of a strike of Second Avenue railway
workers in 1869 captured in a drawing in Leslie's Illustrated for
8/1/1863?  Is there any connection between these strikes and those of 1886
and 1889 as pictured in HArpers Weekly and in Grafton, "New York in the
Nineteenth Century?"
