Here is a link to Copley's 1771 portrait of Mary Philipse Morris.

Have you gotten in touch with anyone at the Morris-Jumel Mansion in Manhattan, Philipse Manor Hall in Yonkers, or Historic Hudson Valley in Tarrytown (which owns Philipsburg Manor Upper Mills in Sleepy Hollow)?

Best,
Scott Monje

Does anyone know where one may find paintings of members of the Philipse
family? (They held the royal patent for most of what is now Putnam County.)
Specifically, we are looking for portraits of Susannah Philipse Robinson and
her husband Beverly Robinson and of Mary Philipse Morris and her husband
Roger Morris. I have a vague recollection of seeing Copley portraits of one
or more of the Philipse sisters in the big Copley show in NYC years ago.
