I'm creating a WWW-based audio archive focusing on labor and
industrial history as part of SUNY-Albany's History and Media
program. It is intended for non-commercial instructional and
public use. I'd like to devote a good portion of it to NY State-based
materials. If anyone out there has tapes of speeches, talks,
interviews, and so on that they would be willing to share with THE
WORLD, let me know. I'd be happy to enhance audio quality, compress
the audio into RealAudio file format, and install it on the WWW.
Please note, WE ALWAYS CREDIT OUR SOURCES!
We're also planning similar WWW audio archival projects focusing
on African History, Legal History, and a number of our Oral History
Program collections. Please let me know if you wish to contribute to
our efforts.
