A Google search on Lamontville (note spelling) NY turns up a couple of references to a place in Ulster County south west of Hurley.

Subject: [NYHIST-L] Where was Lamontville, N. Y.?
The Kerner family of Chester, Orange County, NY visited Aunt Sarah Graf in Lamontvile, New York about 1909.
Apparently this is an obsolete place name, for I could not find any Lamontvile in New York today. Can anyone help me find where Lamontville, N. Y. was?
Thanks,
Clifton Patrick
