On Saturday, Oct. 19th 2002, the Heritage & Genealogical Society of
Montgomery County will be hosting a "Heritage Day."  The event will be held
at the Old Courthouse in Fonda, NY from 9:00am to 5:00pm and it will include
speakers, local authors, and historical societies.  The topics to be covered
are:

*       Montgomery County Dept. of History & Archives
*       Beech-Nut
*       Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville (FJ&G) Railroad
*       National Archives branch at Pittsfield, MA

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour the collection at the Dept. of
History & Archives, as well as purchase local history books & items.
Admission is $3.00 per person or $5.00 per couple.  Refreshments will be
available and everyone is invited to attend.
