Also searching Google Books is a likely source as so many architectural
journals are included. The Westchester County archives and historical
society library is another possibility.

One of my students is working on a project about Madame C.J. Walker
and her last home, Villa Lewaro, which is in Irvington, NY. She is
having great difficulty finding primary source materials (letters,
diaries, inventories, photographs, architectural plans, etc). Does
anybody have advice to offer? Any ideas about where she might find
materials related either to Walker or to the house's architect, Vertner
Tandy?

Thanks,
Anastasia
