Was the Buffalo Orphan Asylum on Delaware Avenue?  We have a woman here
in the Youngstown area (born 1904) whose mother was adopted out of that
orphanage.  I would assume that would have been ca 1880.  She's in ill
health and it would be marvelous if she or her family could get some
information on her mother's surname.
