BALLSTON SPA >> A school district improvement project, which looks
forward to students’ future, recently yielded a glimpse into the past.

Workers discovered an 1899 time capsule of sorts behind a cornerstone
of the Chapman Street administration building, originally completed as
the Ballston Spa High School in 1900.

At tonight’s 7 p.m. board of education meeting, the public can see the
historic items found in October, which Brookside Museum staff will
identify, catalog, preserve and store.
