Passing along information on the upcoming "Low Bridge Everybody Down" celebration of Erie Canal music at the Erie Canal Museum in Syracuse, this Friday and Saturday, November 2 & 3, 2012.

The event will include lots of music (of course) by some of the leading interpreters of canal music, along with a children's concert, panel discussions, workshops, a teachers' in-service, and more.

Details are available here - http://nyfolklore.org/ - and I've also attached the full press release for the event.

I hope to see you there.

Thanks,
