Hi All,

Thanks for the suggestion that the piece may be a fireback.
Because of it's location we have not been able to fully
examine it yet.

However, I can't image this Dutch family, who remained
anti-British into the 1950s, having an ornamentation with
British/Scottish/Irish seals on it.

One never knows though...
