BLUE MOUNTAIN LAKE (AP) — A 50-year-old cabin built on a remote
Adirondack lake by a famed environmentalist and author is being moved
to a North Country museum.

Anne LaBastille built the home in the mid-1960s on Twitchell Lake in
northern Herkimer County. The Daily Gazette of Schenectady reported
the cabin will be dismantled this fall and relocated 25 miles east to
the Adirondack Museum in the hamlet of Blue Mountain Lake in
neighboring Hamilton County.
