Gail Zachary, at PSIMedia (a Gale division - voice: 800-444-0799) has
confirmed that their subscription-access posting of digitized American city
directories (http://www.citydirectories.psmedia.com/) will be de-posted at
the end of this year - due to competition with their microfilm product of the
same content. Although not as elegantly developed as that of Ancestry.com,
PSIMedia's version did have many more titles - it's deposting will be a
signficant loss.

A request to transfer this digital resource to a tax-exempt website - for
which Gale could claim a substantial tax deduction - was declined.
