Good Afternoon: [from Harry Bradshaw Matthews]:

I am trying to locate personal information about Deacon Dye [John Smith
Dye]. His book, "Humanity: Its Fountain and Stream," was published by him
during 1870. I am attracted to the more than one hundred color
illustrations, including depictions of Africans. I have a copy of the book
in my collection. Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks
