It's fair to say that Torrey goes a little overboard in embellishing his
story with connections to the Loomis' Madison County neighbor, Gerrit
Smith.  In these areas, at least, he shows some factual problems, such
as placing Susan B. Anthony at Peterboro helping to plan the 1848
women's rights convention in Seneca Falls.
