Today's Syracuse newspaper carries a story about an effort to preserve
rare artifacts believed to be created by fugitives from slavery while
taking refuge in the basement of a Syracuse church. A website about
this church has been put up at http://www.nyhistory.com/wmc.

Since they don't post to their website on weekends, interested persons
will probably be able to find the story on the newspaper's website
tomorrow (Monday) at http://www.syracuse.com/news/content/local/.

We have also posted information about the NYS Underground Railroad
Freedom Trail act at http://www.nyhistory.com/ugrr/ugrrfta.htm
