Ship arrivals in the port of New York were listed in the major daily
newspapers of New York City, which are available on microfilm in major
libraries across the nation. I suggest that you contact the nearest large
public or academic library near you and ask if they have New York
papers on microfilm, or can get them through inter-library loan.

Original ship passenger lists are held by the National Archives,
Washington, DC 20408; phone 202-501-5400.
