On June 5th Mayor Gerald Jennings transferred St. Joseph's Church from the
City to Historic Albany Foundation. The Foundation is currently working to
stabilize the building. While this work is progressing, a committee,
Chaired by Matthew Bender IV, will hold a series of meetings, to collect
public input and ideas about the reuse of this local architectural
landmark.

The meetings are scheduled as follows:

• Tuesday, July 8 – 7:15 - 9:00 pm
Sweet Pilgrim Baptist Church
corner of Clinton Ave. & Ten Broeck Street — use entrance on Clinton Avenue

• Saturday, July 19 – 1:00 - 3:00 pm
New Covenant School
50 Lark Street, between Second and Third Streets

• Wednesday, July 23 – 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Public Safety Bldg. 165 Henry Johnson Blvd. 2nd Floor

A flyer announcing the dates, times and locations of the public meetings to
discuss potential reuses for St. Joseph's Church is available on the
Foundation's web site at http://www.historic-albany.org .

Please attend one or more of the meetings and pass this invitation and
flyer to your lists of members/constituents.

If you have any questions or cannot attend the meetings please call or
write the Foundation with your ideas and interest. Thank you for your
participation.
