FYI: Article in today's LHGL on the new census index based on place of birth.
This CD is a giant index to all New York born families living anywhere in the
US in 1870. According to the article there are 1,198,285 households where a
member of the household was originally born in NY as of 1870. 41.4% were
living in some other state than New York.
