In my book, Exposing the Wilderness (SU press, 1999) I discuss ski trains in the chapter on Ernest Ameden from North River. More important, there are references of sources to find out more about them.

        List,

        An associate is trying to gather information regarding the Ski Train that used to go into the Adirondacks in the late 1930's and early 1940's. If anyone has any good suggestions they will be greatly appreciated.
