For those specifically interested in the programs and content of the
Historical Survey of the New York State Museum, including collections,
exhibits, research, and field services, you can drop in on the website at
http://www.nysm.nysed.gov and look around.

This site will be expanding in the coming months and we would be
interested on your ideas about what you want to see here, or what you
expected to find but couldn't. This is just the beginning.

Note that other New York History content can be found at the State
Archives website at http://www.sara.nysed.gov and the State Library
website at http://www.nysl.nysed.gov so check these out as well.

Philip Lord, Jr.
Acting Chief
Historical Survey
New York State Museum
