Good Morning:

Welcome to Black History Month 2018. This year's national theme is "African
Americans in Times of War." We salute this theme at Hartwick College along
with a Tribute to the Bicentennial of Frederick Douglass' Birth 1818-2018.

Please find attached the new issue of the *USCT Civil War Digest *that is
focused upon Frederick Douglass and the Greater Freedom Journey. In
addition, there are two pamphlets honoring African American soldiers of WWI
and WWII.

The February cultural diversity and inclusion calendar is also shared. Feel
free to share this information with others.

Thanks

Intercultural Affairs |
