Any US Colored Troops in old LI cemetery?

The New York Correction History Society has placed on its web site an inquiry
and an article about whether any US Colored Troops are buried in a Civil War
cemetery on Long Island, once overgrown but now being restored.

Those interested in accessing the inquiry and the article can do so by one of
three ways:

1 -- Visit the home page of the NY Correction History Society at
http://www.correctionhistory.org
and then click on the "Searches and Researches" icon/image. That brings up a
page which, when you scroll down a bit, shows on the left side a list of
"Searches" in progress. This USCT /?/LI Cemetery search is the top item.

2. -- Go directly to the "Searches and Researchers" page at
http://www.correctionhistory.org/html/searches/searches1.html
which when you scroll down a bit shows on the left side a list of "searches"
in progress. This USCT /?/LI Cemetery search is the top item.

3. -- Go directly to the article at
http://www.correctionhistory.org/html/searches/youngs/youngs3.html
and then, after reading it, go to the "Searches and Researches" via the
"return to" box inserted into the body text. This USCT /?/LI Cemetery search
is the top item.

Anyone with information that might be helpful to the restoration committee
will find in the "Searches" box on the "Searches and Researches" page an
e-mail link to the NY Correction History Society webmaster who will pass the
information along.
