Hi,

A friend of mine purchased a photo album recently with a number of photos
taken in northern New York (Rouses Point), Vermont and the lower Hudson Valley.
One interesting photo shows what appears to be a fairly good section of a
town, which we cannot identify, that has suffered a major fire.

On the back someone wrote the date, February 1, 1920. The only clues we have
to work with on the front is the car plate N.Y. 1919, the writing on the
window of one of the buildings "Ford Motor Cars," and the name of the
photographer, "Doremus Photo."

Would very much appreciate any clues or suggestions of location of this
photos.

Thanks!

Les Buell
