FYI - Please excuse cross postings!

The Humanities New York grants are excellent resources for programming support, especially for smaller institutions! With Humanities NY grants, WNYLRC recently was able to develop the online Erie Canal exhibit on DPLA (https://dp.la/exhibitions/erie-canal) as well as have a set of exhibit banners created to complement the online exhibit. In addition, we also received Humanities New York support to partner with B&ECPL and CCLS in offering Reading Discussion Programs around the theme of Women's Suffrage!

So, brainstorm ideas and apply for one of the Humanities New York grants!

Subject: HNY Grants Updates

Dear Recent Grantee,

I wanted to share some exciting grants updates from Humanities New York.

Last week we published updated Grant Guidelines (see attached). These guidelines include our newest grant opportunity, Quick Grants. Matching grants of $500, Quick Grants are intended for small and volunteer-run organizations. Available now, proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis while funds last.

Each organization is eligible to receive one Vision and one Quick Grant OR one Vision and one Action Grant per year.

There are now three Action Grant rounds per year. The next deadline is June 1st for programming starting September 1st or later.

If you'd like to discuss a proposal idea, you can request a phone appointment from the Grants page<http://humanitiesny.org/our-work/grants/> on our website.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Cheers,
Scarlett
