Dear Joy,
The Encyclopedia of New York City does have it's faults (a searchable
digital version would be a godsend) but I think it should be on library
shelves, perhaps you can petition the Saskatoon public library to purchase
a copy (I have no financial interest in saying so.) Good luck and happy
