* The 8-day Jewish Biblical Festival of Pesach (PEH-sahkh, PAY-sahkh =
Passsover, Ex. 12:14-20, 13:1-10 and Lev. 23:4-8) began on the 15th day of the
month of Nissan (that's the Babylonian 'Nissan', not the Japanese 'Nissan'),
which this year was at sundown on Monday, April 18 on the civil calendar.
