Fast action is taking place to save the threatened underground railroad
artifacts in Syracuse.  Because of the importance and high level of
activity surrounding this project, the web page on New York State's Most
Endangered Underground Railroad Site is featured for December at
http://www.nyhistory.com/wmc.

The page contains background on the problem, links to proposals and
sponsoring organizations, and news and editorial updates from Syracuse
Newspapers.

Letters of support to the Governor and other policy makers are needed.
