I had a call from someone yesterday inquiring about the 1825 NYS Census.
They were looking for the Town of Amsterdam from that time period. While I
do have a number of the towns for that census year, I do not have Amsterdam,
which formed as a township in 1793. Does anyone know if the census for that
year covered every township in the state or did it only cover certain areas?
Thanks.
