POLARIS, or Plattsburgh On Line Archival Retrieval Indexing Service, is an automated version of our card catalog which contains article level indexing of newspapers and magazines from the Lake Champlain/Adirondack region covering the last two hundred years, plus our hldings of pamphlets, maps, manuscripts, photographs and more. This is a work in progress that currently contains the last seven years of indexing of all types plus newspaper citations from 1800 to 1890.
