FirstSearch Worldcat, a cooperative subscription bibliographic database containing about 40 million records show two Buffalo directories published in 1848. I am having Worldcat email them directly to you. Most US colleges and many public libraries belong to this service and the system also give locations that hold the title. In this case the first item shows no holdings, and the second two in the Buffalo area. Hope one of these matches your volume.
