TICONDEROGA, N.Y. (AP) — A museum veteran with stints at history museums in New England and the South has been named curator of collections at Fort Ticonderoga in northern New York.

The privately owned not-for-profit historic site and tourist attraction on Lake Champlain announced this week that Matthew Keagle will be in charge of presenting and preserving the fort's extensive library, archival and artifact collections, as well as overseeing the organization's cultural resources.
