JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Historical Society recently acquired the James Burk Inn and will be holding a special event next month in an effort to raise funds to restore the historic structure, said Johnstown Historical Society President Noel Levee. <snip> The building, located on the corner of William and Montgomery streets, has a long and unique history. Levee said the house is believed to be one of the six to 12 houses built by Sir William Johnson.
