HART ISLAND POTTER'S FIELD 
1872-75 LEDGER 'VIRTUAL TOUR'

A new web presentation has been added to the www.correctionhistory.org  site: a research paper ("A Virtual Tour of the Oldest Known NYC Hart Island Potter's Field Burial Register") delivered, with PowerPoint slides, during the 35th Conference on New York State History, Marist College, Poughkeepsie, mid-June, 2014. Four format versions are made available: PPT, PDF, DOC and DOCX.

The presentation points to some fascinating issues of race, gender. religion and national origin which study of the ledger entries reveals.
