Due to an asbestos abatement project on the second floor of the
Central Library, the storage collections of the Schenectady County
Public Library will be unavailable from next week until approximately
the middle of June.

This affects the bulk of our local history collection, including most
of our yearbooks and some of our city directories..

Our newspaper microfilm and the city directories on the main floor
will still be accessible, and you will still be able to use our
Ancestry and HeritageQuest subscriptions.
