For those who may not be familiar with Cove Neck:

Cove Neck is a village (incorporated in 1927) in the northeast most part of
the Town of Oyster Bay, in the northeast part of Nassau County.

Beginning on the north and moving in a clockwise direction, the Village of
Cove Neck in the Town of Oyster Bay is a peninsula bordered on the north by Long
Island Sound; on the east by Long Island Sound and the Cold Spring Harbor; on
the south by the Village of Oyster Bay Cove; and, on the west by Oyster Bay
Harbor.

Cove Neck is one of those many communities on Long Island where none of the
places in Cove Neck have a "Cove Neck, NY" mailing address: all places in the
Village of Cove Neck have an "Oyster Bay, NY 11771" mailing address.

I hope this information is useful or, at least, interesting.

* L'Shannah Tovah (li-SHAH-nuh TOH-vuh; li-shah-NAH toh-VAH)
Hebrew. Lit. for a good year. The common greeting during Rosh ha Shannah and
the Days of Awe. This is a shortening of "L'Shannah tovah tikatev v'taihatem"
(or, to women, "L'Shannah tovah tikatevi v'taihatemi"), which means, "May you
be inscribed and sealed for a good year." This year, the two-day Jewish
Biblical Festival of Rosh ha Shannah (Lev. 23:23-25) will begin at sunset on Monday,
September 29 on the civil calendar.
