I'm not quite sure how to find information except to look at specific towns that are still dry. For example, I believe that Wolcott in the Finger Lakes/Rochester area is still a dry town. You may want to try to get a hold of them directly. Hope this might help.

I am researching the status of my home town (Bovina) as a dry town. 
Specifically, I'm curious what happened after the repeal of Prohibition
in 1933?  Did towns in NY have to take steps to become 'wet' or 'dry',
or was it one or the other automatically?  Any suggestions as to where
to look would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
