Special Projects Coordinator/2006 Take lead in planning workshops and additional training opportunities for museum professionals and volunteers, including a conference on Native American interpretation and repatriation (Fall, 2006). Five hours/week, work can be done in our Oneonta office or off-site. The successful applicant will have an understanding of the museum field and experience in planning conferences, events or educational programs. Position open until filled. This will include maintaining information on and for grant applicants, maintaining our membership database, coordinating contacts with constituents, and assisting with conferences and workshop planning and implementation. The successful applicant will be flexible, with an attention to detail. Must have word processing and data base management skills and be service-oriented. Design and/or marketing skills a plus.
