in Queens -- the Bowne House in Flushing -- is hoping to get a new lease on
life, although it will take $2.1 million in private and public funds before that
happens."

NEWSDAY concludes the article with, "New Perspectives on the Bowne House:
Archaeological and Architectural Research, 1997-2003" will be on display through
Feb. 29 at the Flushing branch of the Queens Borough Public Library, 41-17
