The following suggestion is in response to a query made a few days ago. The suggestion comes from a friend. Nancy Hyden Woodward ---------- Some of my clients tried some of these programs a few years ago. By and large the experience was negative. The software vendors kept telling them they had to "train" the system to their voice to make it work. One of my clients wound up reading bed-time stories to his computer for about a month before he gave up. On the other hand -- I've heard but not witnessed myself that these systems do work if you throw a ton of RAM-memory at them. I wouldn't ask you to try it unless I had first hand experience with it. But if you have about $500 sitting around that's not doing anything and you feel like doing a little pioneering -- upgrade your memory to 1,024 MEG RAM and install one of those systems and let us all know what happened.
