The 1895 atlas is on line at http://www.livgenmi.com/1895.htm Plus if you've never been to David Rumsey's map site its a must see! http://www.davidrumsey.com/ (Works best with Internet Explorer. ) It is 18th and 19th century digital maps. When you get there use the "Insight Browser" choice. Be a bit patient till it loads, theres a lot of maps to pick from. Clarity is outstanding. You can search by state, county, author etc. A seperate window pops up when you pick your map, with a tool bar. Then you can zoom in,it has print and save options too. But I find it easier to right click the mouse and do a "save image as" JPG. You can then open it in any photo program you have and make it a black and white. I use this site a lot, it is wonderful.
