There is still time to see this wonderful exhibit while it is still in Central New York State.  Dreaming of Timbuctoo is the story of Gerrit Smith's 1846 gift of 120,000 acres of land to African Americans.  The dates and times for the exhibit are:

Dreaming of Timbuctoo is a joint project of John Brown Lives! and the Essex County Historical Society.
