This is a reminder announcement for submitting manuscripts for the Dixon Ryan Fox Manuscript Prize, awarded annually by the New York State Historical Association. Established in 1973, the award consists of a $3000 prize, presented to the best book-length, as yet unpublished, manuscript dealing with the history of New York State.

Manuscripts may deal with any aspect of state History. Biographies of individuals whose careers illuminate the history of the state are welcome, as are manuscripts in literature and the arts, provided that their methodologies are historical.  Works of fiction or poetry are not eligible.
