Dr. Mr. Buell, I don't know about the article to which you refer, but German prisoners were confined in Rochester, in what is now -- I believe -- Cobb's Hill Park. The local history division of the Rochester Public Library (part of the Monroe County Library System) can tell you about that one, I'm sure. I think the city historian, Dr. Blake McKelvey, coild also help. All the best, William Ringle -----Original Message----- From: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> Date: Wednesday, January 19, 2000 2:26 PM Subject: Re: Article on World War II POW Camps in Western NY >Some years ago an article was written on German and Italian Prisoner of War >camps in Western New York.
