John Brown's grave is located in Lake Placid, NY. The burial spot is
marked by a monument which is located on the grounds of his former
farmhouse which has been restored and is open to the public. According to
the AAA Tour Book for NY, the site is 2 miles south on State Route 73,
then .7 miles south on John Brown Road. The farmhouse and grave are quite
close to the Olympic Jumping Complex which was constructed for the 1980
Winter Olympics. If you plan to visit the site, you'll probably spot the
two huge ski jumps before you see the sign for John Brown's farm.
